My company needs a driver to take a refrigerated 53' trailer to Montana and back. I am having trouble finding anyone who has their own truck to drive for us.
Does anyone know where to find truckers in California who can drive to Montana and back in 6-8 days.

I am researching ways to contact some people who have trucking companies (small and Owner operators) to establish working relationships. We open small home business to be big help for small guys for finding loads and dispach for them. I do have allready lined up some people but to be profitable I need probably 5-7 more of owner/ operators under my umbrela.

I am thinking about a career change. I have heard widely varying numbers as to the money that can be made as a truck driver, if you are an owner-operator. Can anyone give me a real idea?
Thanks

On average how much do truck drivers that are willing to drive long distances and own their own truck and trailor ( Owner Operator) make a week?
